Terms and conditions of sale

1.PURPOSE

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) govern the contractual relationship between La Maison des Ducs and any individual making an accommodation booking, whether via the website, by telephone, or through any other distribution channel.

2. BOOKING TERMS

2.1 Non-Cancellable – Non-Refundable Rates

This advantageous rate comes with strict conditions :

  • The total amount of the stay must be paid at the time of booking by credit card.
  • This amount is non-refundable in the event of cancellation, modification, or no-show, regardless of the reason.
  • The reservation is considered final only after full payment of the stay has been received.

 

2.2 Flexible Rates

This rate offers greater flexibility for planning your stay:

  • No prepayment is required at the time of booking.
  • A credit card pre-authorization is taken as a guarantee, but no amount is charged prior to arrival.
  • The reservation may be modified or cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the arrival date (local hotel time).
  • In case of late cancellation (less than 48 hours) or no-show, the cost of the first night will be charged.

3. PAYMENT TERMS

  • Payments can be made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), bank transfer, or cash (in accordance with current legislation).
  • For flexible rate bookings, the remaining balance is due upon arrival or departure, unless agreed otherwise.

4. TAXES AND FEES

  • Prices are listed in euros (€), inclusive of VAT.
  • A tourist tax, applicable per night and per adult, will be charged in addition, at the rate set by local authorities.

5. MODIFICATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS
Requests must be made by email or phone and will only be considered confirmed once acknowledged by the hotel.
The applicable conditions depend on the rate selected (see 2.1 or 2.2).

6. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT

  • Rooms are available from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11:00 AM on the day of departure.
  • Late check-outs may be subject to additional charges.

7. LIABILITY
The hotel accepts no responsibility in case of theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings in guest rooms or common areas. A safe is provided in each room for your convenience.

8. POST-STAY BILLING

Any reservation implies the full and unconditional acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

8.1 Mini-bar and Additional Charges

Mini-bar consumption and any other additional services not settled upon departure (including, but not limited to, beverages, boutique products, etc.) may be charged after the guest’s stay.

 

8.2 Damage and Theft

Any damage or theft observed in the room or common areas and attributable to the guest may give rise to an additional charge after departure.
The guest shall be informed by telephone or email of any such charge, together with a written report and the amount corresponding to the repair or replacement of the damaged or missing items.

 

8.3 Bank Pre-authorization – Security Deposit

A bank pre-authorization may be required as a security deposit upon arrival.
This pre-authorization may be used after departure to cover:
• Any unpaid charges (mini-bar, meals, extras, etc.);
• Any damage or theft recorded during the stay.

9. ACCEPTANCE
Any reservation implies full acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale without reservation.
