IN OUR BEAUTIFUL FAMILY HOME, IN THE HEART OF CHAMBÉRY, WE IMAGINED A SMALL RESTAURANT THAT IS SIMPLE, CHARMING, AND LIVELY.

Neither a big restaurant nor an impersonal canteen, the table at La Maison des Ducs is a place designed to accompany moments without rushing them.

You can come for a good coffee in the morning, a light lunch on the flowered terrace, a seasonal plate under the stone arches, a club sandwich in a comfy armchair, or a fresh juice between two meetings.

Inside, the charm works its magic: wooden ceiling, antique mirrors, a marble bar, and welcoming furniture create a warm, unpretentious atmosphere.

Restaurant hours: 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

At lunchtime, you’ll find local workers on break, neighborhood shopkeepers, curious travelers, and loyal regulars.

Fresh salads, savory tarts, daily specials, vegetarian dishes, tender meats, homemade desserts… and sometimes just a little guilty pleasure — well deserved.

In the afternoon, the place gets calmer, ideal for reading, a work session, or a simple break.

Enjoy a chai latte, a matcha, a good coffee, or a slice of cake — all served with a smile, no fuss.

In the evening, the kitchen closes, but the house stays open. Our guests can still enjoy a glass of local wine, a craft beer, or a charcuterie board in the lounge or garden.
